New Features

  • New Client Tool for Uploading Users.

We have developed a self-service tool that will allow account administrators and/or

managers to upload users and information to their system.

Import Tool Instructions

If you have a large group or quantity of employees, uploading them to your EasyClocking account as Users can seem like a lengthy process. The following is a guide on how to use our Import Tool to facilitate the task of adding users to the account.

  • Navigate to Data Collection > click on the Import sub-tab
  • On the left side of the page, you will see different import options (Locations, Departments, Employees, Positions, Projects and Jobs.)

Select the import you wish to process.

We recommend using the Download Sample option as a reference/guide to what is accepted for import. This sample download is a .CSV file and should remain in this format all the way through the upload itself.

Mandatory fields will be marked with an asterisk. All others are optional, and will only be updated/added if present.

Keep in mind when uploading Employees, Departments and Locations should be imported first.

When the file is ready, under the corresponding option, click the Upload button. Browse for the saved/completed file that you wish to import. Once selected and uploaded, the system will give you a summary of the import and any existing inconsistencies.

  • New feature: Restrict Mobile access by IMEI: Yes or No.
  • A new setting has been developed to disable or enable the IMEI restriction within the system.
  • New Time Clock Alert: Time Clock Offline.
  • We have created a new alert in the time clock that will send an email to the customer when the device has been

offline longer than a specified amount. This specified  amount (minutes/hours) is currently provided to engineering who will configure the setting internally.

Enhancements

  • Include Totals for recorded Tips on the timecard.
  • The total amount for earned tips will be displayed on the bottom of the timecard, alongside all other totals.
  • Timecard Options: Save option to display Tips under the Admin and Employee portals.
  • When enabling the Tips column on the timecard, save the option so that it does not need to be re-selected each time the page is accessed.

Reports

  • Out of Shift: Summary Report.
  • Now the Out of Shift report is also available in a Summary format. We previously only offered a Detailed view.
  • Report for time clock Verification Setting: Authorized Punches
  • This setting will require managers to approve Out of Shift (Overtime) directly on the time clock.

The report will display the following: the employee’s original time entry, the time when the manager reviewed the

employee’s time entry and the final approved time entry. In order for this setting to work the employee is required to have a schedule and punch restrictions.

  • New Report for features from Release 2.33
  • In our last release, we developed the calculation for original time entries with rounded daily totals. In this release, we created a new report (available only when the critical setting is enabled) titled Detailed with Rounded Totals.
  • Admin/Manager name on Reports

The name of the administrator or manager who has approved the time card will now be displayed within the reports.
