Release 2.48 – Wednesday, November 13th, 2019

Date: November 13th, 2019

Greetings EasyClocking customers. It’s time for another release and this one was another small release with just a few items. Due to performance enhancements, the list of items released is short. We’d love to hear your feedback, kindly send us an email to products@easyclocking.com. Below are the items that were developed or fixed on this update and we hope that you like them.

Fixed Errors/Bugs:

  1. “Timecards” and “Reports” issue: Date range would not set to the current pay period for the “Timecards” or “Reports”: This error was occurring in the Australian engine. When viewing timecards or reports, these areas usually would default to the current pay period, and error was occurring where the date was setting itself to the incorrect date range. The issue has been fixed and released as a Hotfix.
  2. “Custom Rounding Rules” – When using the “Custom Rounding Rules” the “Who’s In” was not displaying the same time as the timecards: This error was occurring when the “Custom Rounding Rules” were being used, the Who’s In would display the punches 15 minutes behind the original punch. This would create confusion. The issue is now fixed and the correct punches are now showing in the “Who’s In” tab.
  3. “Custom Rounding Rules” – When using the “Custom Rounding Rules” the “Who’s In” PDF report did not display the same punches as the timecards: This error was occurring when the “Custom Rounding Rules” were being used, the Who’s In PDF report would display the punches 15 minutes behind the original punch. This would create confusion. The issue is now fixed and the correct punches are now showing in the PDF report.
  4. Critical Setting – “Allow to approve own Timecard” option should not be available if not enabled in the critical settings: This option should not be available to click or select unless it was enabled in the critical settings. It was showing up all the time and when selecting the option this would not work since it was not enabled. Now the issue has been fixed and it will only be available to select when activated in the critical settings.
  5. Reports – Timecard “Detailed and Summary” the Lapse Break Auto Deductions were not counted or showing in the reports: This error was occurring with Lapse Breaks. When the break was deducted automatically, the deducted lunch totals were not showing up in the report, however in the timecard they were. This would create inconsistency. Now the issue has been corrected and now these totals are showing up like they do on the timecards.
  6. Export – When generating a custom export the Lapse Break Auto Deductions were not showing up in the reports: This error was occurring with Lapse Breaks. When the break was deducted automatically, the deducted lunch totals were not showing up in the report, however in the timecard they were. This would create inconsistency. Now the issue has been corrected and now these totals are showing up like they do on the timecards.
  7. API Endpoint Error – When using the API User Endpoint by id, the “Salary Type” values were incorrect: This error was occurring when using the User endpoint in our API. The error has been corrected and now the correct values are being provided.
