Release Notes 2.44 – Wednesday, August 21, 2019

Greetings EasyClocking customers! We have new items to release, below are the notes of the item’s released. We hope that you like the new items and happy for the ones we fixed. New Features:

  1. “Timecard Status History” Report: We have created a new timecard report that will show the current timecard status and approval history of an employee(s) timecard.

Enhancements/Add-ons:

  1. “Xenio Time Clock enhancement”- Firmware 2.8.23 Improve Multi-Breaks function: We have improved the Multi-Breaks option in the verification results for xenios. Previously, we had 2 options Multi-Breaks and Multi-Breaks Overnight, now we only have one option which works as both. Previously, when an employee would forget to clock out at the end of the day, on the next day the employee was not able to clock in unless the time logs were emptied or the employee selects clock out.  Now the timeclock will reset at midnight making the clock in button available the following day.

Fixed Errors/Bugs:

  1. “Employee Portal” – Text error on punch indicators: If there was a Lunch/Break option with a long name, the name would overlap the punch indicator. This issue has been fixed and now the name will truncate.
  2. “Shift Templates” error – Hour details on shift templates were not displaying correctly: We had a small UI error when creating or viewing shift templates using “Chrome” or “Mozilla”.
  3. “Projects and Jobs Sync” Clocking permissions option “Sync Projects-Jobs with Time Clocks” is now a critical setting: We have located the “Sync Project-Jobs with Time Clocks” as part of the critical settings in the software and we have also fixed the syncing issue that was occurring when this option was enabled.
