To import data into an EasyClocking account, follow the instructions below.
- This guide requires a basic understanding of editing spreadsheets
- Go to Data Collection > Import > Select an option > Download the Sample File
2. Open the spreadsheet. We recommend using Microsoft Excel.
3. Select all cells that contain a date and reformat the cells
4. Upload the CSV file and check for errors
Position Name does not exist means that the Position has not yet been created in the software.
Invalid Employee Hired Date tells us that the date is formatted incorrectly.
5. If there are no errors, click Save to upload the employee data
